How Does It Work?
Essential Adventure’s UK murder mystery for hen parties is a private event hosted by two experienced actors, who will be present to co-ordinate and to ensure the plot is moving along nicely. Some of the key features of the event are as follows:
- The event works for between seven and 30 guests, but more can be accommodated upon request.
- The murder mystery will last for three hours and is available every day
- Everyone must dress up as their famous character
- During the event, each player must unlock all the clues to uncover the murderer as quickly as possible
- The event can be run alongside a meal, which can be chosen by the organiser of the hen-do.
What Is The Dress Code?
Part of what makes our murder mystery hen nights so fun is the requirement for each guest to dress up as a different, famous character. Without giving too much away, some of our favourite costumes from previous years include:

Prior to the event, each guest will be sent an invitation, giving a description of their character, some costume recommendations, as well as a brief overview of what they will need to do at the time.
