2 - Nightlife guestlist passes
Going out and experiencing the nightlife is an essential part of a stag weekend and one of the simplest last minute stag do ideas to add in. You can simply head out and experience it, however, with bigger same-sex groups (mostly men) there is a higher chance that you won't be allowed in.
There is a relatively simple way around this, which is booking passes to get everyone on the guestlist. This just means that each bar is expecting a larger group to turn up and gets you guaranteed entry (as long as none of you are misbehaving).

3 - Indoor Go Karting
A great way to let off some steam and get your adrenaline fix is with one of our favourite last minute stag do ideas. Karting is an awesome activity in its own right and as part of a stag do weekend, adds something pretty special.
There are loads of wicked tracks across the UK and a whole host of event types, so whether you just want a few laps to thrash around or you're looking more of an endurance race, there will be something for you.

4 - Clay Pigeon Shooting
The only shooting activity that features on our list of last minute stag do ideas and with good reason. Clay pigeon shooting packs enough punch for you to feel like you're really shooting something and the challenge of moving targets makes it very interesting.
Sites running clay pigeon shooting aren't found absolutely everywhere, but the major stag do destinations (Bristol for example) host some great centres, offering this fantastic stag do activity.

5 - Footgolf
If you can picture football and golf as a couple, you've pretty much imagined one of the most fun last minute stag do ideas. In most stag do destinations across the UK you'll find that you're not far from a course offering Footgolf. A lot of the time, you'll be going to a regular golf course which has it's own specifically designed Footgolf course. This means you get all the perks of a golf course (bar/cafes etc) and won't have to remember any clubs.
Essentially, all you have to do is turn up and kick a ball into a hole (between 9-18 times). It's a great mix of two great sports and really popular because of the simplicity of the game.
It will give some bragging rights and others will want to bury their heads for the weekend!
6 - Quad Biking
For an off-road driving option and another of our top last minute stag do ideas, quad biking ticks a lot of boxes.
There are plenty of places around the UK that have quad bikes ready to jump on and put some power down as part of a stag weekend. Some offer track-based experiences, but even more offer off-road safaris to give you a real off-road fix. Most quad bikes have enough power to allow you to feel like you're wrestling a beast at times and will make you smile as you tackle obstacles, blast through puddles and generally test your off-road handling skills.

If you're looking for last minute stag do ideas that make you feel like a bawse, heading to a casino has to be up there. There are casinos absolutely everywhere, so no matter where you choose as your stag do destination, you'll find a casino.
Casinos offer lots for stag dos. You can simply just turn up and play (usually after having to register), or you can pick a package which can include food, free bets, private games, tutorials and more. Whether you're a bit of a pro or a complete amateur, going to a casino on a stag do is a great bit of fun... just don't get too carried away!

8 - Escape Room
Packing yourselves into a little room with a bunch of guys you barely know may not sound like your favourite of our last minute stag do ideas, but bear with us. An escape room is a great addition to a stag weekend as it lets you prove how intelligent you are and will ultimately show up the 'dumb smart people', you know the ones. This could provide you with years of banter.
They are generally great value-for-money too and can be found in any stag do destination worth its mettle.

Booking food amongst your last minute stag do ideas is great as it is simple and caters to the most basic of your needs for the weekend. That being said, the place you choose to book your evening meal doesn't have to be boring.
Whatever food you like, there is probably somewhere able to provide it for you. Being a last minute stag do, you might not be able to get your first choice, but no matter what, you will be able to find somewhere serving up delicious food for all of the group.

If you fancy something a bit energetic, a bit fun and possibly a bit mucky, choose an assault course as one of the last minute stag do ideas.
There are plenty of options across the UK (most of the best ones are close to or inside of the bigger stag do destinations), with various levels of obstacle difficulty.
Whether you're seasoned obstacle racers or just after something a bit fun and different, it's a great choice of stag activity and usually won't break any budgets either.

The only real think that may play a part is availability, but the options below generally account for this and should provide you with a viable and reasonably budget-friendly list of accommodation choices.

1- Hotel
With plenty of hotels in all major stag do towns and cities (most smaller ones even have a good selection), you should still be able to choose a hotel offering reasonable room rates, including breakfast and a comfy bed.
There are loads of great 3 to 4 star hotels which offer a bit more than just a roof over your heads and meaning you don't have to find all food for the whole weekend. Lots of hotels have restaurants on-site, making it even easier to find great grub with minimal fuss.
Some of the more basic hotels are still great options and will generally have better availability at short notice.
It's all a matter of perspective, but it's best to find some kind of compromise across your whole group so that you can balance cost vs. comfort for your last minute booking.
2 - Private house
Finding a private house, flat, apartment etc at the last minute may prove a bit trickier than a hotel, but this depends on what time of year it is and which stag do destination you're planning to stay in. It is possible to find some great deals if you know where to look.
If you can find a private house, do be prepared to have to pay the full amount almost immediately, as this is common with this type of accommodation.
If having private accommodation is a real deal-breaker, it may be worth being a bit flexible on the destination as you may find the activities somewhere else. This could take a bit more time to find though, so it's your choice how much of a balancing act you are happy to do.
3 - Canal Boat

It's a great way to explore countryside, visit local, riverside pubs, see things from a different perspective and basically chill out more than a lot of stag dos.
As last minute stag do ideas go, a canal boat trip provides something a bit different from other accommodation, but essentially offers everything that a private house offers.
There are canals stretching across the UK, so you'll never be too far away from a trip either, making it great as a last minute idea.
